Status Saver is an Android app that helps you save WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business status media on your device. This policy describes what stays on your phone and what Google processes to provide ads.
1. Status Media and Folder Access
To find viewed statuses, you select the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business .Statuses folder using Android's system folder picker. The app reads files in the folder you choose and processes them on your device. Status Saver does not upload the status photos, videos, or GIFs to Codemeoww servers.
When you save a status, the app copies it into your device's shared gallery under Pictures/Status Saver or Movies/Status Saver. These saved copies remain on your device until you delete them. Uninstalling Status Saver may not remove files already saved to your gallery.
You can remove the folder access in Android settings. You can delete saved copies from your gallery. App preferences can be removed by clearing Status Saver's storage or uninstalling the app.
2. On-device Preferences
The app stores settings such as your selected status folder, display preferences, and auto-save options on your device. A local status-open counter is also used to control how often interstitial ads appear. These values are not sent to Codemeoww as analytics.
3. Sharing and Direct Chat
If you share or repost a saved file, Android passes the file to the app you choose. That app's own privacy policy applies to anything you send there.
If you use Direct Chat, the number you enter is used to open a conversation in WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business. WhatsApp/Meta receives and processes that number and any messages you send under its own privacy policy. Codemeoww does not receive or store the number on its servers.
4. Advertising and Google AdMob
Status Saver displays ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK and uses Google's User Messaging Platform to handle ad consent and privacy choices where required. According to Google's SDK disclosure, the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share an IP address, app interactions such as launches, taps, and video views, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID or App Set ID. Google may use this information for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention. An IP address may be used to estimate a general location.
Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads depending on your location, consent choices, device settings, and Google's ad configuration. We do not build advertising profiles or collect this information ourselves. Google may provide us with aggregated ad reporting. Google's handling of ad data is covered by its own policies:
5. Analytics
We do not use a separate analytics service or SDK and do not collect app usage analytics on our own. Google Mobile Ads may process some interaction and diagnostic information for its advertising and related purposes as described above.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Status files and app preferences are stored on your device, not on Codemeoww servers. Delete saved media from your device gallery. Clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove locally stored settings. Saved gallery files may remain after uninstalling. Google's retention and deletion practices for ad data are described in Google's privacy policy and Android ad settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Status Saver is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not ask users to create an account or provide personal information to Codemeoww. Google's ad processing may vary based on applicable age, consent, and regional settings.
8. WhatsApp Disclaimer
Status Saver is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta. Please respect the rights of content owners and get their permission before sharing or reposting saved media.
9. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as the app changes. The Last Updated date on this page shows the latest revision. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
