codemeoww: Making the Internet Fun Again

Budget Bunny (package com.budget.bunny.tracker) is an expense tracker for Android made by Codemeoww. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect your personal information. We have no accounts, no servers that store your data, and no analytics or advertising tools in the app.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Everything you enter is stored locally on your device. This includes transactions, budgets, bills, savings goals, split expenses, notes, categories and settings. We cannot see it or access it.

3. Permissions and Features

Notifications: used for local reminders you set, such as bill reminders. They are scheduled on your device.

Biometric or fingerprint: used only to unlock the app if you turn on app lock. Your biometric data is handled by Android and is never accessible to us.

Photos and files: the app accesses only the images or files you choose, for example for attachments, import or backup. They stay on your device unless you share them yourself.

Export and sharing: if you export or share a report, it goes where you choose. We don't receive it.

4. Network Requests

The app fetches currency exchange rates from public sources (Frankfurter and the European Central Bank). These requests do not include your financial data or any personal information. Like any internet request, the provider may see your IP address under its own privacy policy.

5. Purchases

Optional paid features are processed by Google Play. Google handles payment details and we never see your card information. We only receive confirmation of whether a purchase is active, through Google Play. Google's privacy policy applies to purchases.

6. Backups

Android's backup feature may copy the app's data to your Google account (Google Drive) if you have device backup turned on. That is controlled by your device settings and Google's policies, not by us. You can turn it off in your Android settings.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share or transfer your data to third parties.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes all of it. Backups in your Google account can be managed from your Google account settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

Data stays on your device and is protected by your device's security. Network requests use HTTPS. No method is fully secure, so please keep your device protected.
