Resist Privacy Policy

Resist is an Android app developed by CodeMeoww. This policy explains what information Resist accesses, stores, and shares.

1. Information Resist Accesses

Resist accesses information needed to provide its protection features:

Installed app information, including package names, labels, and icons, so you can choose apps to protect.

App usage information, including time spent in apps, app openings, active sessions, and usage history.

Protection events, including blocked attempts, Grace usage, Breathing Unlock completions, and rule activity.

Permission status for Usage Access, Display over other apps, notifications, and battery optimization settings.

Purchase and entitlement information needed to activate and restore Resist Pro.

Resist uses app usage information only to show statistics and apply rules you configure. Resist does not use this information to judge the value or purpose of any app.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Resist stores the following information in Android app-private storage:

Your selected apps and protection rules.

Daily allowances, opening limits, pauses, schedules, Grace settings, and Breathing Unlock settings.

Usage summaries, statistics, protection events, and rule history.

App preferences and permission-related state.

Your Resist Pro entitlement status.

Your rules and usage history stay on your device. Resist does not send this information to a CodeMeoww server.

3. Accounts, Advertising, and Analytics

Resist does not require an account or login. Resist does not show ads, use advertising trackers, or run third-party analytics. Resist does not sell your information.

4. Resist Pro Purchases

Google Play processes Resist Pro purchases and manages payment details. Resist does not receive or store your full payment card information.

Resist uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and maintain your Resist Pro entitlement across app sessions. RevenueCat may receive purchase-related technical information, including an anonymous app user identifier and Google Play purchase information or purchase token. Resist does not send your app usage, rules, or usage history to RevenueCat.

5. Bug Reports

If you choose to report a bug, Resist prepares a message in your email app addressed to support@codemeoww.com. The message may include the report details, your follow-up email address, app version, device model, Android version, timezone, and any images or videos you choose to attach.

Resist does not send the report itself. Your email provider processes the message after you choose to send it.

6. Information Sharing

Resist does not share your rules, selected apps, usage history, or statistics with advertisers or data brokers.

Resist shares purchase-related information with Google Play and RevenueCat only as needed to process purchases and verify Resist Pro access. Information you choose to include in a bug report goes to support@codemeoww.com through your email provider.

7. Data Deletion

You can remove local Resist data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling Resist from your Android device. Google Play and RevenueCat manage purchase records and entitlement history separately.

8. Security

Resist stores app data in Android app-private storage. No method of storage or transmission provides absolute security, but Resist limits external data sharing to purchase verification and support messages you choose to send.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, Resist will update the Last Updated date and publish the revised policy.
