Nimex does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The extension does not collect:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Account information
  • Browsing history
  • IP addresses
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers
  • Payment/financial information
  • Personal messages or communications

    • Nimex does not use cookies, analytics, ads, or tracking technologies.

    2. Local Data Stored on Your Device

    Nimex only stores non-personal data locally inside your browser, including:

  • Your list of followed anime
  • Cached schedule and episode data
  • Notification history (episode numbers only)

    • This information never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, not linked to you, and not shared with any third party.

    3. How We Use Permissions

    Nimex uses a small set of Chrome permissions solely for its core functionality:

  • Storage: Used only to save followed anime and cached schedule data locally.
  • Notifications: Used to notify you when a new episode of your followed anime is available.
  • Alarms: Used to schedule periodic checks for new episodes.
  • Host Permissions (AniList API): Nimex sends requests only to `https://graphql.anilist.co`. This is used exclusively to fetch public anime data such as titles, images, and airing times. No personal information is included or transmitted in these requests.

    • 4. Third-Party Services

    Nimex uses the public AniList anime API for anime data. It sends no personal information and does not share or sell user data.

    5. Children's Privacy

    Nimex does not target children and does not collect personal data from anyone, including users under 13.

    6. Security

    All data stored by Nimex remains on your device. Its only external service is the public AniList anime API.

    7. Changes to This Policy

    If this privacy policy is updated, the “Last Updated” date will be changed. You should review this page periodically.
