The app does not collect:

    • 2. Local Data Stored on Your Device

    Dimmer only stores non-personal app settings locally on your device, including:

  • Your preferred brightness level

  • Keep Screen Awake preference

    It is not uploaded, not linked to your identity, and not shared with any third party.

    3. Advertising

    Dimmer is supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

    These ad networks may collect certain technical information to serve relevant ads, including:

    • Ad networks do not have access to:

  • Your personal information stored by Dimmer

    4. Permissions Used

    Dimmer uses the following Android permissions solely for its core functionality:

  • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display Over Other Apps): Required to display the dimming overlay on top of other applications. This is the core functionality of the app.
  • INTERNET: Required to load and display advertisements that support the free app.
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check network connectivity for ad loading.
  • WAKE_LOCK (Keep Screen Awake): Optional permission used only when you enable the 'Keep Screen Awake' feature.

    • 5. No Data Sharing or Selling

    Dimmer does not:

  • Share user information with any third parties (except ad networks as described above)
  • Sell personal data
  • Use your data for purposes unrelated to app functionality
  • Track your screen content or activities
  • Access your files, photos, or personal content

    • 6. Children's Privacy

    Dimmer does not target children and does not knowingly collect personal information from users under the age of 13.

    If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.
