codemeoww: Making the Internet Fun Again

Chillbara (package com.chillbara.game) is a free, single-player puzzle game for Android made by Codemeoww. This policy explains what the game stores on your device and what Google services process to provide ads, saved games, leaderboards, achievements and purchases.

1. Our Data Practices

The game has no account system and no server of its own. Codemeoww does not collect, receive or store any personal data from the game.

We do not use analytics or crash reporting services. The game has no chat, no user-generated content, and does not collect precise location data.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The game saves the following on your device:

Progress: the levels you have completed, your daily puzzle streak and your highest level.

Coins and hints: your balance and the capybaras and board themes you have unlocked.

Settings: music, sound, auto-mark X and the daily reminder.

Purchase status: which in-app purchases are active.

This data is not sent to Codemeoww. If you sign in to Google Play Games, a copy is backed up to your Google account as described below. Uninstalling the game deletes the copy on your device.

3. Advertising and Google AdMob

Chillbara shows banner ads, ads between levels and optional rewarded ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the Advertising ID, IP address (to estimate an approximate location), device and app information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and improve its services.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game shows a consent form through Google's consent tool before ads are personalized. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings under "Ad privacy options". We do not build advertising profiles or receive this data ourselves. Google's handling of ad data is covered by its own policies:

You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android settings under Settings > Google > Ads. Buying Remove Ads or the Supporter Pack turns off banner and between-level ads. Optional rewarded ads stay available.

4. Google Play Games Services

Signing in with Google Play Games is optional. If you sign in, Google Play Games Services handles your sign-in, Saved Games, leaderboard and achievements under Google's own policy:

Saved Games: your game progress (the data listed in section 2) is backed up to your Google account, so it can be restored on a new phone or after a reinstall.

Leaderboard and achievements: the game sends your highest level and achievement unlocks to Google. Your Play Games name and avatar may be visible to other players on the leaderboard, depending on your Play Games settings.

Codemeoww does not receive or store your Play Games profile. You can manage or delete your Play Games data in the Play Games app or in your Google Account settings.

5. Google Play Billing

In-app purchases (Remove Ads, the Supporter Pack, hint packs and coin packs) are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. Google Play shares a purchase record with the game so it can unlock what you bought, and processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy.

6. Notifications and Ratings

If you turn on the daily reminder, the game schedules a local notification on your device. No data leaves your device for this.

The game may occasionally show Google Play's in-app review prompt. It is handled entirely by Google Play, and we don't see whether or how you rated the game unless you publish a review.

7. Permissions

The game requests only the following permissions:

Internet access: used for ads, Play Games and billing.

Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob for advertising.

Billing: used for in-app purchases through Google Play.

Notifications: used only for the optional daily reminder.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Everything the game saves on your device is removed when you uninstall it. We hold no data, so there is nothing to request deletion of from us. Data processed by Google, including ad data, Play Games data and purchase records, is retained and can be managed or deleted according to Google's own policies and your Google Account settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Chillbara is not directed at children. The target audience is players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
